Description

This starter has a powerful 3 KW (4 HP) motor built for the hardest starting applications on Big or Small block Chevy. Designed for 12 volt systems but, also works exceptionally well on 16 volt. Requires a 10 pitch or a 139 tooth flexplate. Recommended for 600 + cubic inch engines. Oversized bearings support the armature and drive assembly. Extra length brushes for years of hassle free service. Heavy duty diesel style solenoid. Offset design to clear most industry standard kickout oil pans. Large 12 tooth pinion for more rotational speed. (PLEASE NOTE THESE STARTERS REQUIRE GOOD BATTERY CABLES AND CONNECTIONS) (WE PREFER THE ENGINE BLOCK BE GROUNDED TO THE BATTERY AND NOT THE FRAME)
